Richard Ellis

In a freelance career spanning over 20 years he has carried out numerous public art commissions for local authorities, churches, private clients and schools. 

These have frequently been complemented by workshops and residencies, giving children and adults the opportunity to become involved. 

He is a believer in creative education as a means of making learning seem real and relevant.

Architecture also forms his core subject matter as a photographer, and he has been commissioned to photograph buildings for a range of clients including architects, developers, major building contractors and the Royal Albert Hall.

He also works as an entertainer, drawing caricatures at weddings, parties and other events.

Interests include Platonic and Indian philosophy, church activities, motorcycling and music.

He is based in the Midlands and has a five-year-old daughter.
