Guildford Diocese The Diocese of Guildford was formed in 1927 from part of the ancient Diocese of Winchester and covers an area of about 500 sq miles incorporating most of Surrey, North East Hants and touches on West Sussex and Outer London.

Lanesborough School All Cathedral boy choristers are educated at Lanesborough or the Royal Grammar School. Early morning chorister rehearsals are held every weekday (except Wednesday) in the music room at Lanesborough.
The Cathedral girl choristers live within a 10 mile radius of the
Cathedral and can attend any of the local schools. We currently have
girls at

George Abbot,
Rodborough,
Guildford High School,
Tormead
and
St Catherine's.
