News: The Angel Candlelit Dinner 30 October 2009

This year at the Angel Dinner we have an exceptional array of gifts to auction at the event. The most recent addition to the fantastic line up is a bespoke personal piece of jewellery designed for you by Elaine Hickmott the founder of Topaz Smile. Below is a little information about Elaine background and how she became one of Surrey’s best designers!

About Topaz Smile: Topaz Smile is a one-person business founded in 2008 by Elaine Hickmott. Her bespoke custom-made jewellery is individually designed for women who appreciate something special and unique. Topaz Smile’s personal jewellery design service is perfect for ladies who want to treat themselves to something unique – and for men who want to give jewellery as a very personal special gift. A scientist turned businesswoman, with a PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Elaine worked at Sellafield Nuclear Power, ran a body armour business, and reached Board level as Operations Director in her last job in the corporate world, before starting Topaz Smile.

Elaine is a member of The British Jewellers’ Association, The Association of Contemporary Jewellers, Surrey Chambers of Commerce, Surrey Business Club and is an active board member of the Mid- and East-Surrey region of Young Enterprise.
