News: Fun at the Fair

A big ‘thank you’ to all who contributed in so many different ways to the Cathedral’s Jubilee Summer Fair on 11 June.

A huge amount of work went into the planning and publicity masterminded by Faith Savage and the committee, who were assisted by dozens of volunteers.

We were rewarded with good weather and crowds of people on the hill, enabling the Cathedral to make in excess of £33,000, and the local charities who we were delighted to welcome as participants made at least £12,000 on the abseiling alone.
