Bunch of Believers - Youth Group
'BOB' usually meets in the Crypt, during the 09.45 Cathedral Eucharist with breakfast from 09.15 onwards. Meetings take place approximately four times per term. Any queries phone Faith McCarthy 01483 504204 or email savage.mccarthy@btopenworld.com.
Sunday School
Sunday School is held in the Education Centre, during the 09.45 Cathedral Eucharist every Sunday morning during term Time and welcomes children aged 3-11. There are two groups called Flames, for those between 3 years and 5 years of age, and Doves for those 6 years and upwards. Flames follow a programme based on stories from the Old Testament, New Testaments and continuation of Jesus' teachings through people's actions since. Doves follow "Roots - Children & Young People" which is a resource based on the weekly lectionary. Sunday School has now broken up for the summer holiday and will restart on Sunday 7 September.
A Crèche facility is available in the north garth at the back of the Cathedral during the 09.45 Cathedral Eucharist every Sunday morning. Parents are welcome to pop in and out with babies & small children, toy bags are available to take into the service to keep little ones amused.
Sunshine Saturday
Three times a year Canon Angela Weaver and the pastoral assistants hold a morning for children under 5 years of age and their parents to give them an opportunity for chat while the children play. The next morning will be 6 December at 10am in the Education Centre.
