Cavatina Orchestra and Chamber Choir concert - The Creation; Joseph Haydn
Tickets - priced at £15.00 - from Guildford Cathedral Online Box Office

Cavatina Orchestra and Chamber Choir present a unique performance of Haydn’s Creation in aid of Guildford Cathedral. Conducted by Max Todes, aged 17, chorus mastered by Hannah Dienes-Williams, aged 17.

Hannah says:

"Guildford Cathedral is a place which is, and always has been, extremely close to my heart. Having grown up engulfed in cathedral life, I’ve had many an opportunity to see how it deeply benefits and affects worshippers, be they regular or visiting. I myself have been lucky enough to sing in the Cathedral Girls’ Choir since the age of 9, and music making continues to be an integral part of my life.

I first met Max in 2014 on a Pro Corda chamber music course which we both still attend twice a year. It was shortly after a Pro Corda tour to Florence that we conceived the idea of this concert, and so to see it becoming a reality is truly amazing. By combining some of the finest young orchestral players and singers in the country, we hope that this concert will be nothing short of spectacular, and an apt demonstration of our support for the Cathedral and all that it facilitates."

Seasons Café & Kitchen, our on-site restaurant, will be open before the concert, serving light meals, snacks and drinks.
