- Pilgrim Cello Performance | Kenneth Wilson Free Concert and Meditation
Pilgrim Cello 2025 is a 2,000-mile pilgrimage around the 42 English cathedrals, by bicycle, performing a Meditation on the Seven Last Words of Jesus. The Meditation consists of reflective poems interleaved with movements from the Bach Suites for Solo Cello. The pilgrimage began in Newcastle on 19 May 2025 and conclude in Carlisle on 4 July 2025.
As part of his Pilgrim Cello, Kenneth Wilson will offer a performance of his Meditation on the Seven Last Words of Jesus, incorporating poetry, music from the Bach cello Suites, and meditative artworks.
