Our monthly Cathedral Tots, Wednesday 7 June from 10am. Cathedral Tots meet to worship informally with a story, song, and prayer. Our story this month helps us to celebrate the festival of Pentecost with our worship gathering complemented by refreshments, toys and children’s activities. Cathedral Tots is aimed at toddlers and pre-schoolers with their parents/carers. No booking is necessary, children must be accompanied by an adult. For the Music Lover
Join us for our ever-popular Coffee Concert, Thursday 22 June. As part of a series of monthly concerts throughout the year, June, sees the return of the talented pianist Yoon Seok Shin performing within the beautiful surroundings of Guildford Cathedral. The mornings start at 10.30am when tea, coffee and biscuits are served and then the concert begins at 11.15am. Our ongoing Art Exhibitions for 2023 include:
Sight For Surrey Centenary Exhibition at Guildford Cathedral - 3 May – 2 July 2023 - 8.30am
To celebrate their Centenary anniversary, an exhibition to inform people all about this Surrey-based charity will be held at the Cathedral. On display will be the charity’s history, the role of technology to assist people with sensory loss, facts and tips about how to help people with sight and hearing loss and how the charity empowers people with sensory loss to overcome everyday challenges. Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey supports people on this journey from birth all the way through life.
Jenna Fox, Art Exhibition at Guildford Cathedral – 23 May – 29 June – 8.30am
‘If not now, when?’
We are pleased to welcome the talented and experienced artist Jenna Fox to the Cathedral.
The exhibition celebrates Guildford flowers and our Cathedral in three parts. Outside, in front of the Cathedral's main stairs, will be an installation of 39 large flowers such as roses, lavender, and other traditional flowers; once inside, two huge paintings will flank the doors into the Cathedral, and inside flower paintings will be on the outer walls.
