Step Into Spring

March brings a breath of fresh air to the Cathedral as we embrace the new season. Lent continues with services and events throughout the month, leading up to Holy Week and Easter.

Our doors are open daily for free and everyone is welcome.

For Families

Come and be a part of Cathedral Tots on Wednesday 6 March at 10 am – a stimulating monthly gathering designed for preschool children and their parents/carers. This month, we delve into the heartwarming story of the lost sheep, discovering the deep love of God. Engage in crafts and activities inspired by the narrative, such as crafting mobiles. No bookings needed.

For Preloved and Vintage Shoppers

On Saturday, March 2, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, Preloved Kilo returns with six tonnes of preloved, vintage, and retro clothing and accessories. Tickets are £1.50, and more details can be found at www.prelovedkilo.com/events.

 

For Lovers of Music

Our annual Girls Choristers’ Concert on Saturday 2 March takes place at St. Catherine’s School in Bramley from 7:30pm to 8:45pm . Tickets are free but must be booked in advance here

Coffee Concert, featuring Organ Scholar Jeremy Wan, will take place on Thursday 14 March.  Join us from 10:30 am.

Guided Tours of the Cathedral are available to book on 1 March and 27 March. Advanced bookings can be made at www.guildford-cathedral.org/events/boxoffice for £6.50pp.

Tower Tours return on 1 March and 16 March at 1:30 pm. Book your spot for an exhilarating journey up 249 steps, offering stunning 360° views across Guildford and towards London.

 

For Transport Lovers

Safeguard Coaches Centenary are celebrating here at the Cathedral with an Open Day on Saturday 16 March from 12pm to 4pm, featuring heritage and modern vehicle displays, stalls, and entertainment. Everyone is welcome to our service.

Holy Week and Easter: Experience Holy Week with Father Charlie Annis CR, culminating on Easter Day 31 March.

Shopping and Eating: Visit our Gift Shop for cards and gifts, and enjoy delicious refreshments at Season’s Cafe. Free 2-hour on-site parking is available for Cathedral visitors.
