News: Christmas Carol Concert with Age UK Surrey

As part of our monthly free coffee concerts we are delighted to welcome Age UK Surrey, their friends, families and the wider community to a morning of carol singing. The carols will be led by Rydes Hill School Choir and the Guildford Cathedral Singers, with Katy Silverman, our Organ Scholar playing the organ.  Please join us to sing some of your favourite carols.   Free coffee and mince pies served from 10.30am, concert starts at 11.15am and is expected to finish around 12 noon.

The concert will take place in the heated marquee at Guildford Cathedral.  We are expecting a busy morning so Stewards will be on duty in the car park to help keep everyone safe but we do recommend that you allow plenty of time to park.  Disabled visitors can be dropped off at the door to the Marquee.  If you are able-bodied please park as far away from the Marquee as possible to enable those less able to walk to take the nearer spaces!

The Cathedral, Shop and Refectory will be open to visitors.

Why not extend your stay to enjoy a delicious lunch in the Refectory.  A special two course lunch for £10 can be pre-booked by phoning 01483 560471.  Special menu is a choice of Turkey, Ham and Leek Puff Pastry Pie, new potatoes and seasonal vegetables or Leek and Goats cheese Pasta served with garden salad, followed by Christmas pudding, homemade custard and winter berries or Fresh Fruit Salad - do book your place today!
