Guildford Cathedral has so much to offer the visitor. As well as an inspiring and peaceful building the Cathedral offers a whole range of attractions from guided tours to enjoying a cup of tea and a cake with friends.
The Cathedral extends a warm welcome to visitors of all ages all year round, from the start of morning services to the end of Evensong each day.
Please note, Guildford Cathedral is currently in the midst of a large scale building project. We are open throughout this period and do encourage you to visit, however some areas of the Cathedral may not be accessible. Please look at https://www.guildford-cathedral.org/news/2016/project-updates to learn more about the current stage of the works. Please bear with us through this transition period.
Car Parking. Please note that there are new parking arrangements at the Cathedral. A number plate recognition system is in operation monitoring who arrives and departs the Cathedral. This will enable you to enjoy 2 hours FREE parking at the Cathedral without taking any further action. If your visit lasts longer than 2 hours all you need to do is ask a member of staff in either the Shop or Refectory, who will be able to extend your parking for an additional amount of time FREE!
Please note: On occasion the Cathedral may not be open to visitors. Please check for temporary closures.
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you'd like further details.
If you are unable to visit in person, please have a look at our photo gallery to see the inside and the outside of the Cathedral.
