Come and support your local Cathedral

We welcome new volunteers from all kinds of backgrounds, age groups, all faiths or none.  Guildford Cathedral provides a friendly, supportive environment in which volunteers are invited to contribute their skills and to grow in confidence and competence.

Our volunteers help with visitors and behind the scenes, in teams or independently, give time regularly or occasionally.  It is entirely up to you. If you have the time and interest, we will be able to find a role for you.

Volunteering opportunities are wide ranging including:

Bell Ringers and Singers

Events Assistants

Family, Children and Schools Activity Assistants

Flower Arrangers
Gardeners and General Maintenance

Office and Admin

Researchers and Archivists

Shop and Fair Trade Team

Tour Guides, Stewards and Welcomers

To find out more pop in to our regular monthly Community Coffee gatherings held at Seasons Café at the Cathedral on the last Thursday of the month at 11am.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Julie Mitchell, Volunteer Co-Ordinator, on 01483 547 885 or email volunteer@guildford-cathedral.org
