Visiting Guildford Cathedral

Unfortunately, due to the current public health restrictions, the Cathedral is closed temporarily for public worship and private prayer until further notice.

On Sundays you can join in a streamed Eucharist service, and links to other resources are available on our Home Worship page. Links and other information can be found on the Cathedral Facebook page. Our Clergy continue to worship daily in their own homes, if you would like to be added to the prayer list contact Please be assured of our prayers at this time.

Guildford Cathedral has so much to offer the visitor. As well as an inspiring and peaceful building the Cathedral offers a whole range of attractions from guided tours to enjoying a cup of tea and a cake with friends.

The Cathedral extends a warm welcome to visitors of all ages all year round, from the start of morning services to the end of Evensong each day.

Donations to the Cathedral from visitors are welcomed as these help towards our maintenance and running costs (we receive no regular state funding). There is a small fee for group visits.
