Can you help us refurbish the toilets at Guildford Cathedral’s Visitor Centre?
We have received the message loud and clear! More than 70% of people who completed our toilet survey are dissatisfied with their condition … and to tell you the truth, we’re not happy with them either. With your help we could refurbish our facilities AND provide
- free menstrual products ensuring period dignity
- raise awareness of prostate cancer amongst men
- reduce energy and water use helping the planet
- install baby changers for young families
What’s the plan?
We need to offer more to the 100,000 people we welcome to the Cathedral annually.
Alongside making the toilets more accessible and reducing their environmental impact, we have forged a partnership with The Prostate Project at the Royal Surrey Hospital to create what we think will be the first ‘prostate aware’ male toilet in Surrey.
We have also partnered with the charity Binti Period Dignity to promote access to free menstrual products.
Our facilities are FREE to use, but by giving a little, you can make a huge difference. Every single pound donated will make a positive difference. Thank you!

£10,000+ gets official recognition on our funding board, an invitation to the grand opening and private reception for 10 guests
