Today's #homeworship is the final instalment in our four-part series of French composer Francis Poulenc's Quatre motets pour un temps de pénitence, (the Four Lenten Motets).

The final motet, Tristis est anima mea, is a foreshadowing of the events of Holy Week, from Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem tomorrow (Palm Sunday), to his isolation on the cross on Good Friday.

As we pray for hope for all the world, we also give thanks for the work of all keyworkers, and ask for courage and strength for them.
