Cathedral Closed for Filming

Filming at Guildford Cathedral – Week of 15 September 2025

During the week commencing Monday 15 September 2025, a TV production company will be filming scenes at Guildford Cathedral for a programme due to be broadcast next year.

Whilst filming is in progress, there will be restricted access to the Cathedral. Please note:

• The North Car Park will be closed from 7pm on Sunday 14 September.

• The Cathedral Shop and Café will remain open throughout the week, except on Wednesday 17 September 2025.

Weekday Services at St Nicolas’ Church

All weekday services will take place at St Nicolas’ Church, Guildford (GU2 4AW).
There will be no impact on Saturday and Sunday services at the Cathedral.

• Morning Prayer & Holy Communion

  • Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri – 8.30am & 9.00am

  • Tue – 8.00am & 8.30am

• Choral Evensong – 5.30pm

  • Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri

• Evening Prayer

  • Wed – 5.30pm
