Have you ever wanted to get started with knitting or crochet but don’t know where to begin?

By the end of this hour-long taster session, you’ll have learned the basics, including how to cast on, cast off and knit & purl stitches. Or you can choose to learn the basics of crochet by creating a foundation row, before moving on to single and double crochet stitch.

Keep your new-found skills topped up at home with your needles and yarn.

Materials will be provided, but if you prefer to use your own, please bring along some double knitting wool (lighter colours are easier to begin with) and some size 4 or 4.5 knitting needles or crochet hook.

How to create a Post-Box topper base.

This intermediate class will cover the basics for both knitting and crocheted bases. Patterns will be supplied but please bring along your choice of needles, hooks and yarn.

The suggested donation for these classes is £3.
