Notice of 2024 Annual General Meeting 16th June 2024 11.30am

This is to inform you that we are to hold the Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Guildford Cathedral on Sunday 16th June 2024 straight after the morning service, at 11.30am, in the Chapter House, to which you are invited.

• The Annual Report & Accounts for the year ended 31st December 2023 can be found here.
• You will see from the Agenda that there was a technical problem with the application to convert the Friends from a charitable company to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), which was agreed by Special Resolution at an extraordinary general meeting in February. The problem has been resolved, but we need to pass the Special Resolutions again at the AGM. The revised Constitution can be found here. As before, these Resolutions require a 75% majority of those voting (including proxies). You are encouraged to use a proxy vote if you wish.
