29 July Illumina Duo – Richard Moore and Ellie Lovegrove

The opening concert in our Summer Organ Festival, celebrating some of the fabulous chamber music written for the organ, and a variety of other instruments!

Thursdays, 7.30pm. Free to attend – retiring collection. 

We welcome Trumpet and Organ duo Illumina (Ellie Lovegrove and Richard Moore) to give a concert which includes some monumental works for organ (including Max Reger’s extended Fantasy on an old German tune) and trumpet – Peter Eben’s iconic work Okna, which celebrates light streaming through windows of different colours, created by Marc Chagall.
