Reflective Talks
Advent and Art – A Reflective Mini-Series
The Advent journey, through the Nativity and on to Candlemas, is deeply familiar within the Christian tradition. Yet sometimes a work of art can open our eyes to see this well-loved story in a fresh light.
Art speaks to us in ways that words and narrative cannot. Over two 45-minute sessions, The Reverend Canon Dr Steve Summers will lead a reflective exploration of Advent and Art, using several pieces of artwork to guide us along this sacred pathway.
Perhaps, as we look together, something new will emerge, something about God’s presence with us that you have not noticed before.
Join us in the Lady Chapel for this inspiring mini-series:
- Sunday 14 December after Evensong (approximately 7.15pm)
- Wednesday 17 December at 7pm
Come, see, and reflect as you journey through Advent with renewed vision.
Just turn up | no booking required.
