Guildford Cathedral is beginning an exciting new chapter: shaping our vision and strategy for the years 2026–2030. Rooted in prayer and reflection, this journey will guide us as we seek to serve God faithfully and remain a beacon of hope for our community.

Every voice matters

We believe our future must be shaped together. That’s why we are inviting staff, volunteers, worshippers, Chapter members, parish partners, and friends across Guildford and the diocese to share their hopes and ideas.

How the consultation will unfold

Launched on Sunday 14 September 2025, the consultation will run into early 2026. Through surveys, interviews, meetings, and feedback sessions, everyone will have a chance to contribute. Together we will:

  • Listen to the voices of our Cathedral community and partners

  • Discern a clear vision and mission for 2026–2030

  • Identify strategic themes and practical objectives

  • Develop a sustainable financial strategy for long-term stability

  • Celebrate and launch the new plan in Eastertide 2026
