As we travel together on our Lenten journey, today the church remembers Cyril, who became Bishop of Jerusalem in about 349 AD, and who created the observances of Palm Sunday and Holy Week. We recall past observances, and look forward to a time when we can once again worship together. Today's #homeworship offering is a setting of the Kyrie by Gyorgy Orban. The Kyrie is one of our most important texts in Lent: as we pray Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy, we bring ourselves and the world before God, and in doing so turn from our own state to that of the whole world, recalling that God is merciful.
