Join us for our Choral Eucharist today marking the Feast of Corpus Christi.

The Day of Thanksgiving for the Institution of Holy Communion, in shorthand Corpus Christi - the Body of Christ, is celebrated in the calendar of the Church on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday. The intention of the celebration is both to give thanks for the gift of Holy Communion, instituted by Jesus on Maundy Thursday, and to reflect and focus on the presence of Jesus Christ in the sacrament of the Eucharist. The readings and prayers for the day reflect this. It also affords an opportunity for God’s people, the Body of Christ, to reflect on the way in which Christ is present with us and the blessing Christ offers to the world.
