Heritage Activity Morning

Explore the buildings heritage with a couple of short presentations followed by some hands-on activities, specially aimed at our younger visitors

There's a lot that goes on in Cathedral life. Hear a little about some of the aspects like how people came together to build the Cathedral by buying a brick, or why all the kneelers look the same but different, and then get the chance to get hands on with some activities designed for smaller hands (big hands also welcome!)

Join us for talks on our famous kneelers, items from our Treasury and other fun activities including brass rubbing. Talk times are fixed but you can attend any time before or after the talk to experience the other activities, and it's not necessary to join a talk if you just want to explore the Cathedral and the activities on offer. Come and help us celebrate our Diamond Anniversary and our wonderful heritage.
