Guildford Cathedral welcomes over 100,000 visitors each year and is home to a vibrant worshipping community. Our mission is rooted in worship, hospitality, and service to the wider world.

We’re seeking an Events Virger to join our team, supporting the Cathedral’s mission and busy programme of worship and events. You’ll play a key role in preparing and running services, concerts, and special events, ensuring the Cathedral is cared for and ready for all who visit.

Reporting to: Dean’s Virger

Accountable to: The Chapter of Guildford Cathedral through the Chief Operating Officer.

Hours and salary: This is a full time post, average 40.5 hours per week. Some flexibility is required. The salary is £25715.00 overtime payable at £12.21 per hour.

Contract Type: Fixed Term for 2 years.
