Guildford Cathedral is more than a sacred space, it is a vibrant community where people connect with God and with one another, working together for the common good.

We are a warm-hearted community, Open to God, Open to All, and to growth and transformation. Every year, over 100,000 visitors come through our doors, and our extended Cathedral family includes thousands with historical, familial, or personal connections – whether through worship, volunteering, or even purchasing a brick in the 1950s.

The Cathedral is led by the Dean and the Cathedral Chapter, our equivalent of a Board of Trustees. The day-to-day operations are overseen by the Chief Operating Officer, supported by a dedicated lay staff team.
