Please download or print a copy before you arrive and bring it with you. Downloading the PDF in advance helps us reduce our environmental impact. A small number of printed copies will be available from the Cathedral Stewards.

📺 Live Stream – Option 1

This service will be livestreamed.

If you are unable to join us in person, we invite you to watch online via our YouTube channel or Facebook page. Our livestreams are made possible by a small and dedicated team of volunteers who generously give their time to support our worship and outreach.

Everyone is warmly invited to Choral Evensong on Sunday 5 July 2026 at 6.00pm as we mark two significant occasions in the life of Guildford Cathedral's music department.
This special service will be the final Evensong under the direction of Katherine Dienes-Williams before she takes up her new role at Winchester Cathedral. It also marks the end of the choir academic year, providing an opportunity to celebrate the achievements, dedication and contribution of all our choristers and musicians.

The service will be sung by our Boy and Girl Choristers, together with our Lay Clerks, showcasing the musical excellence that has enriched Cathedral worship throughout the year.

As we celebrate these milestones, we will also bid farewell to several valued members of our music department: Ollie, one of our Lay Clerks; Jozef, our Organ Scholar; and three of our changed-voice choristers. We thank them for their dedication and service, and wish them every blessing in the next chapter of their musical journeys.
We hope you will join us as we give thanks for a wonderful year of music-making, celebrate the ministry of Katherine Dienes-Williams, and mark this important moment in the life of our Cathedral community.
